Data Governance

Data governance is a set of processes that ensures that important data assets are formally managed. Data governance ensures that data can be trusted. It is about putting people in charge of fixing and preventing issues with data so that health technology services are effective and efficient, and ensuring the ethical use of data.

Reporting

The Data Governance Group has been established as a committee of the Clinical Governance Group. The Data Governance Group reports to the Clinical Governance Group to provide oversight and decision making on the data, algorithms to be utilised by health technology services.
