Patients First – Quality and Primary Care Information Programme

Patients First is a sector resource for primary care acting as a focal point for quality and information. It has tripartite ownership via General Practice New Zealand, the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and the National Health IT Board.

Patients First operates as a Programme Office with a Steering Group consisting of representation from: NHITB, GPNZ, RNZCGP, Ministry of Health Primary Care, Health Quality and Safety Commission, The Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand, Nursing and primary care delivery networks.
