Practice Management System (PMS) Review
In 2011 , the independent panel review of the 4 PMS systems available in New Zealand was undertaken. This reviewed the 4 PMS’ against the “high 5″ criteria identified in the earlier PMS requirements project. A draft report was developed and the final report is now scheduled to be published to the sector in the second week of February.

In 2010 Patients First were requested to evaluate the requirements of Practice Management System s to support the future delivery of care in General Practice and primary care (including emerging requirements). The findings of this are to inform a product certification process in the future.
