Helmut Modlik | Chief Executive

Helmut Modlik PortraitHelmut is an experienced Chief Executive and Director with a background in implementation and change management, business and economic development, strategic analysis and planning, public policy and finance. Helmut has worked extensively through the health sector, having held a range of roles previously working with the Ministry of Health on initiatives including the National Systems Development Programme, PHO Performance Programme and other primary care initiatives. He has also held board roles with PHARMAC, Capital and Coast DHB, the Health Information Standards Organisation and Health Information Strategy Action Committee. Helmut has an MBA and and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration.

Peter Jordan | Solution Architect

peter-jordan-90x120Peter is a highly experienced software architect and developer with a particular interest in health information modeling and exchange. His current focus in on interoperability solutions supporting initiatives such as the NZ CDA Toolkit used in GP2GP and the NZ ePrescribing Service. He has a 30 year career in the IT Industry, in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and this has included spells with vendors of primary and secondary care applications and various public sector organisations. Peter is an Executive Board member of HL7 New Zealand and represents primary care on the national Sector Architects Group.

Michael Howard | Governance Officer

michael-howard-90x120Michael specialises in health policy, contract and project management, service planning and governance.  He has a career focused in the health sector and has extensive knowledge of primary health care settings and implementation.  Michael has held general management positions in large PHO Networks and senior project management roles in primary care at the Ministry of Health.

Mahalia Mills | Executive Assistant

mahalia-millsMahalia has extensive administrative and assistant experience in the financial services, non-profit, and retail industries. She has worked internationally in Germany, Australia and New Zealand. With a background in the stock broking field, she has also developed a strong knowledge in accounts, websites and marketing. Mahalia provides administrative and operational support to the Patients First team.
